Binh Thuan announces 4 stopover locations on National Highway 1A

Under the direction of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Department of Public Security recently issued a document on asking traffic police divisions of districts/city along the National Highway 1A (in Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Bac, Phan Thiet, Ham Thuan Nam, Ham Tan) and other functional agencies to take surveys in order to select 4 stopover locations for vehicles to fill fuel and solve their passengers’ demand for food, drinks and toilets, etc.

The provincial police will strengthen patrol to detect and deal with vehicles unregulated stopping to pick-up and drop-off passengers. Especially, traffic police team 1 and traffic police station of Ham Tan district will ask vehicles to stop and make a declaration about their traveling route, drop-off and pick-up record (time, location, number of passengers and other information…) to ensure Covid-19 prevention and control. At the same time, vehicles’ owners will be informed about 4 locations that their cars can stop when traveling through Binh Thuan province.

Authorities and functional agencies of localities are requested to ensure pandemic-control measures at selected stopover points and make sure that those facilities do not serve food and drinks on the spot.

Hereafter the list of 4 stop-over locations on National Highway 1A, section through Binh Thuan:

1.       Petrol Station No.4 (km 1613+ 800 in Lien Huong townlet-Tuy Phong district)

2.       Thang Loi Petrol Station (Km 1623+ 900 in Chi Cong commune-Tuy Phong district).

3.       Hung Thinh Stopover (Km 1710 in Ham My commune-Ham Thuan Nam district)

4.       Ham Tan Petrol Station (Km 175+100 in Tan Nghia townlet-Ham Tan district).
