Binh Thuan Red Cross supports needy people to celebrate Tet festival

BTO- The provincial Red Cross Society of Binh Thuan province on January 6 handed over financial support (in cash) for Tet celebration to people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Phu Thuy Ward, Phan Thiet city.

Up to now, the organization has offered Tet support packages to 125 households in 10 wards/communes of Phan Thiet city, and 125 households in La Gi town. Accordingly, each household with 1-2 people received VND 500,000, and VND 1,000,000 for households with 3 persons and more. The support fund is sourced from the central committee of Vietnam Red Cross Socicety with the purpose of sharing difficulties with needy families and encourage them to celebrate a happy and cozy Lunar New Year festival 2022.
