BTO – Included in a series of activities “Touching the love” the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has lately launched a program, named “Binh Thuan’s Culinary – Fostering the Frontline forces in Covid-19 fight”. Accordingly, the unions, associations, clubs and charity groups will mobilize and gather the food sources to cook meals for the frontline forces in the localities. Those food are traditional foods and drinks and specialties of Binh Thuan province.

Mr. Lam Hong Tuyen – Head of Binh Thuan HCYU shared: “To ensure the request of social distancing under the directive No.16, the youth volunteers are called upon to help people go to the market and cook ready-to-use meals at their home and bring them to the frontline forces in the localities. The process of preparing and cooking meals must follow the Health Ministry’s 5K regulations on Covid-19 prevention.

Food hygiene is one of the most important criteria during the process of cooking and delivering food.

Over the past time, a number of units have actively launched such kind of model to support the frontline forces in the Covid-19 fight. A small cake, a cup of coffee or a slice of dragon fruit can also warm up the on-duty forces as the Covid-19 epidemic is increasingly complicated in many countries worldwide in general and provinces/cities nationwide.
