Mui Ne voted in the Top 5 ideal destinations to enjoy seafood

BTO – The website of Booking.com has recently revealed its final result on a recent fact-finding survey to investigate domestic tourists’ scores for Vietnamese gastronomy. As a result, there are many tourism Cities named, including Mui Ne – Phan Thiet city. Particularly, Mui Ne has been listed among the top 5 cities famous for fresh and delicious seafood besides other famous coastal cities of Da Nang, Vung Tau, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc.

According to the description on booking.com, those coastal cities satisfy all diners with fresh and hearty “seafood banquets”. There are many dishes, which come from Mui Ne, are mentioned in the list, such as Half-dried squid, fish salad, grilled seafood, Loi fish with onion oil (Cá lồi xối mỡ), etc.

Stretching along the 192km-long-coastline and located in waters with favorable natural conditions, Binh Thuan owns a large fishing ground with a variety of rare, nutritious and delicious seafood, such as grouper, King crabs, lobsters, squid, scallop, etc. Those plentiful sources play an important role in food processing, touching diners’ hearts and tastes. 

Besides the voting for “fresh seafood” content, the poll has also picked up Top 5 culinary sites in terms of traditional cuisine, street cuisine, indigenous cuisine. The findings showed that 53 percent of Vietnamese tourists love enjoying indigenous cuisine when traveling; while 45 percent of them would like to eat out more frequently. The findings are considered as a “tip” for Vietnam tourism in general and Phan Thiet tourism, in particular, to promote its cuisine to adapt to domestic tourists.
