Binh Thuan boosts MICE and Wellness tourism on the rise

Many years ago, when Mui Ne was first known as a tourist destination, local tourism longed to develop the locality on the par with international level. Such development orientation of MICE tourism (which stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) is a type of tourism in which large groups, usually planned well in advance, are brought together.
Although Phan Thiet- Binh Thuan gathers numerous advantages and potentials for tourism development, it had not yet found strategic and potential investors to develop its tourism in the above-mentioned direction.
Luckily, a good chance came when the Novaland Group decided to invest in Binh Thuan province. And Binh Thuan’s story about tourism development towards MICE and Wellness began. Wellness tourism refers to traveling for health and well-being reasons.
However, with the desire to find and select excellent and feasible ideas and initiatives from organizations and individuals around the world for development planning in order to make Phan Thiet become the world's leading MICE and Wellness tourism destination, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Province and sponsored by Novaland Group has launched this contest. Despite its available potential, resources, and strategic vision to nurture the desire of becoming the world's leading MICE and Wellness tourist destination in the future, Binh Thuan has to do many things to build a development roadmap. In which, the contest of Vietnam’s aspiration: Turning Phan Thiet into the world’s leading tourist destination for MICE and Wellness tourism by 2045 was debuted under the cooperation between Binh Thuan province and Novaland Group.
In the meantime, the contest fosters the province to reach investment orientations, calling for investment projects appropriate to high-quality tourism types.
Currently, Binh Thuan is developing a key tourism product of green and eco-friendly ones in order to call upon investment projects in terms of high-class beach resorts, sea sports activities, and so on. Whereas, the locality also put priority on preserving and protecting the environment and natural resources, learning about the local culture, festivals, community life, and traditional villages. Those are vital clues for the development of people’s lives in parallel with preserving and embellishing the province’s cultural identities.
