The Hung Kings Memorial Day (the 10th day of the third lunar month) is one of the public holidays in Vietnam. Apart from a national ceremony held in the Hung Kings’s Temple in Viet Tri city, the northern province of Phu Tho, this traditional festival is observed nationwide. The ceremony includes many worship rituals, processions, the offerings of fruits, Banh Chung (square glutinous rice cakes) and Banh day (round glutinous rice cake), and folk music performance. The worshipping ritual of Hung Kings was recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012.

This year, the festival in Binh Thuan had the contributions of the Tanh Linh and Duc Linh districts.
