Gorgeous Countdown festival to welcome New Year 2021

BTO- A very special program to welcome a New Year 2021 took place at Nguyen Tat Thanh square, Phan Thiet city on the night of December 31st. Attending the event, there were Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung – member of the Politburo, former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa – Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, leaders of provincial authorities and agencies as well as crowded locals and visitors. All were excited to wait for the countdown moment of New Year 2021.

Such dazzling event, held by the Center of Cinema and Culture (Under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), has been known as the best well-prepared program up to date. With the message of leaving all adversities behind and welcoming the new year with new journey and new phrase.

The countdown program included 2 parts that started with singing and dancing shows performed by Bien Xanh dance troupe under the theme of “Spring comes to the Coastal city”, and the second part covered the theme of “Binh Thuan says hello to New Year 2021” conducted by the Center of Cinema and Culture.

Remarkably, 9 pigeons were released into the sky at the countdown moment of the New Year 2021 in harmony with the public cheers as they wish for a peaceful and prosperous new year.
