Binh Thuan to build up scientific profile ranking the landscape of Hon Cau Marine Protected Area

BTO- Provincial leaders have lately approved of the policy that allows the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to develop a scientific dossier and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee. This profile is about to rank the provincial landscape of Hon Cau Marine Protected Area. Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is responsible for directing the Provincial Museum to make a scientific profile by regulations, complete and report to the Provincial People's Committee in 2022.

Previously, the functional department had reported and consulted the Provincial People's Committee in preparation for a scientific dossier to submit the provincial scenic ranking for Hon Cau Marine Protected Area in 2022. At the same time, Hon Cau meets all factors and scientific values to make a scientific profile proposing to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for provincial scenic spots ranking such as history, culture, natural landscape, biodiversity, etc.

Hon Cau Marine Protected Area (Tuy Phong) was established in 2010 under the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee. It now has a Management Board under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The area does not only concentrate on biodiversity and many precious seafood species, but this place also possesses an extremely unique natural landscape and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
