Phan Thiet city ranked 5th of 10 most-search destinations by international visitors in Vietnam

Tourists searching for tourists sites in Vietnam are mostly from the U.S, Australia, Russia, France, Singapore, India, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada…, and the top searched destinations in Vietnam are Ho Chi Minh city, Ha Noi capital, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province), Phu Quoc (Kien Giang province), Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan), Da Nang City, Hoi An (Quang Nam), Da Lat (Lam Dong), Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), and Vung Tau (Ba Ria-Vung Tau).
It can be said that international search volume for tourism information in Vietnam has seen a sharp rise, especially following the launching of pilot program to welcome back international tourists in November, 2021, with a promotional campaign “Live fully in Vietnam”. The number of foreign people looking for travel news in Vietnam underwent a gradual increase, before skyrocketing in late December in 2021. Search volume has increased with a record of 222 percent in January, 2022 (compared to the previous month), and reached an increase of 248 percent in comparison with that of the same period last year.
Currently, the Covid-19 pandemic has been effectively controlled, tourism activities in Vietnam in general and in Binh Thuan province in particular have gradually restored in the new normal period. This is considered as an advantage that helps raise the international tourists’interest in searching for tourism information in Vietnam.
