Binh Thuan: Various exciting activities to mark Youth Month 2022

Despite the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, many activities in response to Youth Month 2022 are still actively taking place throughout the province. All levels of the Youth Union and Associations in the province have rushed to emulate the implementation of meaningful and practical youth projects and tasks, ensuring the prevention and control of the epidemic.

During the first week of the month, many outstanding results have been recorded as follows: the province’s youth have given away 4 charity houses; awarded 171 scholarships to students with difficult circumstances; presented 331 gifts to policy-favored households and former pioneer youth; organized free medical examination and offered medicine for people; built three 3 children's playgrounds.

In addition, the local youth has far completed a number of youth projects of new-style rural construction such as "Security light", "Security camera", "Concrete route", "Solar energy route", etc. The total investment is estimated at 200 million VND. Also in the first week, the youngsters have awarded a bookcase to Young Pioneer Members; organized training on entrepreneurship knowledge; conducted activities of garbage collection and cleared bushes; planted 1,800 trees, and so forth. The total value of works, tasks and activities is nearly 2 billion VND thanks to the participation of nearly 5,000 union members, members and young people to participate.

In the coming time, the relevant units will continue to carry out meaningful works to welcome the provincial Union Congress at all levels in preparation for the National Youth Union Congress in 2022.
