An Phuoc General Hospital establishes Covid-19 treatment facility

Accordingly, the facility has a scale of 80 beds with the function of admitting, quarantining and delivering medical treatment to Covid-19 patients. Of the 80 beds, there are 50 beds used for 1st floor level of covid-19 patients (mild or asymptomatic Covid-19); and 20 beds for those with medium and heavy symptoms; the other 10 beds are spared for severe and critical Covid-19 patients.
The facility is placed at Number 4, Nguyen Hoi street, Phu Trinh Ward, Phan Thiet city. An Phuoc General Hospital is urged to take charge of well-performed collection, isolation and treatment of Covid-19 patients in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Health, ensuring control of cross-infection in the treatment area. For severe cases or complications, the facility would transfer those patients to higher levels (if any) for monitoring and continuing treatment. It is necessary to ensure human resources, medical equipment, drugs, supplies, chemicals, and vehicles to cater the Covid-19 treatment area.
