Province’s leaders and Military Region 7 visit Martyrs Cemetery and offer gifts to policy families and fishermen

BTO - On the morning of July 25, under the authorization of the Ministry of National Defense, the delegation of the High Command of Military Region 7 led by Major General Do Van Banh - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7 paid tribute to the heroic martyrs in Binh Thuan Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery, on the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27). Accompanied by the delegation, there was Major General Nguyen Van Hoang - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7.

On the side of Binh Thuan province, there were Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; as well as leaders of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Military Command, and the Provincial Border Guard Command.

The delegates offered incense and flowers in memory of heroes and martyrs.

At the Provincial Martyrs Cemetery, the provincial leaders, the High Command of Military Region 7, and delegates offered incense and flowers to express their respect and gratitude to the fallen heroic martyrs for their great merits and sacrifice to have a unified, peaceful and developed Vietnam as it is today.

On this occasion, the High Command of Military Region 7 visited and offered gifts to the Management Board of the Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery and 20 disadvantaged and policy-favored families in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh and Major General Do Van Banh presented gifts to policy families.

Major General Do Van Banh affirmed that: The Party, State, Army, and localities always pay attention and regularly organize meaningful activities of gratitude to policy-favored families. He placed stress on memorizing the merits of wounded soldiers, heroes, and martyrs, relatives of martyrs, people infected with toxic chemicals, and imprisoned by the enemy, etc. At the same time, he expected the beneficiary families would continue to promote the revolutionary traditions and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements to build an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland.

On the same day, the High Command of Military Region 7 also visited, encouraged, and gave gifts to fishermen and their families of the BTh - 97478 TS fishing boat that crashed at sea on July 10.
