Province’s leaders pay tribute to Martyrs on 47th anniversary of National Reunification Day

BTO – A delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) leaders paid tribute to martyrs at the provincial Martyrs’ Monument on April 29th morning on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).

The delegation included Mr. Duong Van An - Member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Head of the Delegation of the Provincial National Assembly deputies of the 15th term of the Binh Thuan unit; Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - an alternate member of the Central Party Committee - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and vice-chairmen of the People's Committee, Provincial People's Council, revolutionary elders, former leaders of the province through the periods; former Heads and Deputy Heads of the National Assembly Delegations; the deputies of the 15th National Assembly - Binh Thuan unit; leaders of Party committees, departments, branches, representatives of the armed forces, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and so on.

After the visit to the provincial Martyrs’ Monument, the delegates came to offer flowers and burn incense in commemoration of Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Binh Thuan branch. 47 years ago, April 30 went down in the nation's history as a brilliant milestone. The 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, especially the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, liberated the South and reunified the nation. In harmony with the whole country’s atmosphere, Binh Thuan province has reached out to innovate and quickly synchronized with the steps of the country. Inheriting the heroic revolutionary tradition of his father's generations, the Party Committee, government, and people of Binh Thuan are determined to build the province more and more prosperously.
